Father's Day Giveaway {Closed}

Father's Day is such a special time to remind ourselves of how important our dads really are.  I would be completely lost with my dad.  While I was in hospital he would visit me multiple times a day.  He attended to everything I wasn't able to without me asking.  He thought of things I wasn't able to.  Since I've been home he has brought me copious cups of tea and he has carted me back and forth from doctors appointments as I'm currently unable to drive.  He is so strong but so gentle and he has a heart made of pure gold.  My sister and I have no doubt that there is nothing he wouldn't do for us and we are so incredibly blessed that he is the man we call "Dad".

Africology have this Aloe Ferox serum and Shave Cream that I think would make great gift ideas. To celebrate Father's Day, Africology are also giving away this Aloe Ferox serum to one lucky reader so that she can spoil her dad.

To enter all you need to do is share why your dad is an incredible one.  Leave me a comment below sharing your story and I'll draw a winner on the evening of Father's Day - 15 June 2014.

I cannot wait to read your touching stories!  xxx

My father has passed on but Im lucky enough to have my hubby in mine and my girls life :) He is an amazing dad!!! He struggles to change nappies but will do it everytime I ask him to, he is overun with girls at home but I dont think he would change a thing. He will wait at the top of the driveway every Friday when he rides his bike because he knows my oldest will be waiting to ride down the driveway with him. He can often be found with both girls (aged 3ys and 1 yr) on his lap. He has spent many a night trying to fit on a 3 quarter bed sleeping with my 3 yr old because she has woken up at night. He sometimes looks after the girls and lets me sleep in on weekends :) He does all this and so much more Hes awesome!

I have said for a long time that my father has always given me and my two siblings the best of him, of whatever he had, unfailingly. Nothing is more true. My father’s best is his love in action that reached miraculous proportions. I could speak endlessly about how wonderful my father is. Above all else though he is this, a loyal, smart, compassionate, loving man and the most amazing loving self sacrificing father I have ever seen: He love's me and my two siblings more than anything else in the whole world. I know how lucky I am to know that. #SUPERDAD

Rehana Seedat email: dseedat@telkomsa.net My Dad is the most loving, caring, selfless person I have ever known. The wisdom that my Dad shares with me is simply priceless. Life is a pool of learnings gathered from past experiences, but without a parent guiding you as you go through life, my paths would have been different. Learning never stops when I am with Dad . He is the best, if not the bestest. My Dad reminds me that the happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything.Dad is God's gift to me. From him, I learned everything that I needed to survive in this challenging world. Dad taught me the real meaning of love (outside of emotions and beyond words) forgiveness, patience and grace. Despite having a terminal illness & all hardships & tragedy he has faced, Dad continues to face the World with a Smile. Dad is my counsellor, fashion critic, financial adviser & best friend. His heart is forever young. Dads love is special; he scolds to discipline, he nags with good intentions but deep down, he is all love.” I can only thank God for my Dad because without him, I would not have been brought out into this world and enjoy the life I now enjoy. Dads Selflessness, ongoing Love and dedication to his family & sacrifices he has made for us over the years, makes him soooo Special and the best Dad Ever

My dad is incredible because when I was born, I was premature and taken away from my mother before she had a chance to see me. My dad was in the middle of a war in Saudia Rabia and tried to get back as soon as he could but my mum was suffering badly from lack of iron. She was getting worse and worse while I, trying to grow stronger in an incubator, was just getting weaker.
When my dad finally got to England and to the hospital it was nearly three weeks later and I hadn't been held by my family once. When my dad found out he was furious and went against all rules and regulations of the hospital and took my mum, drip and all, into the elevator and took her to the ward to see me.
Once I was in my families arms, my dad cried and saw how my mum and I both grew stronger so quickly after that.

Now, my dad is sick. Very sick. He suffers with emphysema, osteoporosis and also the worst possible case of TB. The doctors give us three day warnings on his lifespan.. often. Yet he always pulls through. He always has.
My dad has been electrocuted by a jacuzzi and flown back nearly into the swimming pool and he still survived.
Even though he gets out of bed and sometimes cracks a rib from fragile bones - he puts on the bravest face I have ever seen and shows us all so much love and support and happiness.
He is continuously bragging about my writing or my brothers music. He's the most wonderful, funny, proud dad on the planet and as children of his, we are the proudest children in the world.
Oh, he also just became a grandparent for the first time <3

I love my dad.

My dad is the best because he has raised me up to be the very best I can be...and for that, I am ever grateful. There truly is nothing else a lady can ask of her dad than selfish qualities that stem & form the foundation of a great human inside out. Yes, he has done more than words can ever express for me, and sacrificed so much to see that I get only the best that life has to ever...In addition to than that selfless nature of his, he has instilled in me a spirit of strength, perseverance, hard work, independence and goodness...be good and do good is his motto, and that has worked so well in my life. All of my life achievements are because of amazing God fearing parents that I have been blessed with, and I am eternally grateful for them!

It is very hard to put into words how I feel about my Dad. He is always loving and supportive and goes out of his way to help and give advice. I loved to ride horses when I was a child and he paid for riding lessons and bought me my own horse. He is a fab DAD!!
