Make Up storage {27 Pinkx}

Hi ladies!

Today I thought I'd share the way I store my make up.  Recently I started using this 27 Pinkx mini organiser (found here) which I think is the perfect way to store your make up.  I've always been that girl with three make up bags and always rummaging through them to find my favourite eyeshadow or make up brush.  I was so happy to pack my make up into this organiser because now I can easily see everything I need and quickly grab whatever it is I may need.  This perspex organiser looks gorgeous on any dressing table and I can't help feeling so impressed with how it has organised my morning make up routine.

How do you store your make up?

Winter Vest

Woolworths tee and vest | Zara jeans | Forever New scarf and bracelet | Longchamp tote | Michael Kors watch | Woolworths booties

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I had such a wonderful one.  Le bf's mom has been away to Canada and the States so this weekend we spent some time catching up with her and hearing all the exciting things she's been up to.  Saturday I had one of my dear friend's birthday and I also had the Neon Run in the evening.  I absolutely love keeping fit and healthy and the Neon Run was such a fun run and it was so wonderful to see everyone dressed up and having a great night out but keeping fit at the same time.  Did you run?  How was your weekend?

I bought this vest from Woolworths before the weather started cooling down and I've been really looking forward to finding the perfect opportunity to wear it.  Sunday the weather was quite chilly and I headed straight for it and I'm so glad I did.  What do you think?

iPhone Lately

Life's been so much fun and maybe a little crazy lately and I thought I'd share this post with you so that you can catch up on what all has been going on.

1. Charly's Bakery was one of my first stops in Cape Town.  I'm a cake lover so that definitely went down well! 2.  These are mini daffodils that brighten up my day at work.  3.  My new lipstick obsession MAC Saint Germain.  4.  Late night gym session.  I'm actually running the Neon run this weekend, is anyone else?  I'm so excited for it.

1.  Le bf, his sister and I hiked up Table Mountain.  We spent a good chunk of the day hiking and wow what a workout.  Such a rewarding one too.  The view from the top was incredible.  2.  To begin the hike we started in Kirstenbosch Gardens which are so beautiful.  3.  I'm loving all felt hats at the moment.  I think they're perfect for the change of season.  4.  Irina and I having fun at the Mr Price event's photobooth.

1.  I took my Grandma for high tea on Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day.  We had such a wonderful time.  I'm so lucky to have my Gran.  2.  The view from the top. This view is the reward I had for hiking the whole afternoon.  3.  Wedges and jeans are always a great combo when you haven't got a clue what to wear.  4.  A Mexican Fiesta - a friend and I went to a Mexican food festival for lunch.  We had frozen margarita's and ordered everything on the menu.  Delicious!!!  For more insights into what I'm up to each day, you can find me on Instagram @arumlilea.

Cat Lady

Cotton On blouse | Robot skirts | Mr Price heels | Longchamp bag | Michael Kors watch | Forever New bracelets | Dolce & Gabbana sunnies

It's true.  I'm a bona fide cat lady.  Along with that I'm most certainly a navy lady too.  When I saw this blouse it obviously called my name and I had to have it.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and spoilt your moms and grandmothers on Mother's Day.  I took my Grandma for high tea on Sunday and it was absolutely wonderful.  She is the most incredible woman and any time I get to spend with her is well treasured.

Happy Monday!

Feeling [cobalt] Blue

Mr Price hat and leggings | old top | Linx heels via Zando | Forever New clutch and bracelet | Michael Kors watch | MAC lipstick in Saint Germain

Hi everyone!

Yesterday wore almost all blue and I was absolutely loving it.  It was a bit cold so these thick leggings were the perfect addition to my outfit while still maintaining the in-between seasons kind of look.  I  have a thing for felt hats this season and I bought this one in addition to my black one (see here) to vary it up a bit.   To add another bit of colour I used MAC's Saint Germain lipstick which, as you will know if you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, I've become a little bit obsessed with!

Top Three Face Masks

We all know the importance of skin care.  While cleansing and moisturising are essential, face masks are also an important step in ensuring optimum care of your skin.  Today I've rounded up my favourite face masks, each with a different purpose to the next.  I try to incorporate a mask into my skin care routine twice a week and I really love the effect they have on my skin, not to mention that they force you to relax and have a little "me time" while they enhance the quality of your skin.  Right, let's get started:

1.  The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask

I bought this beauty from the Body Shop some time last year so I've been using it for a while now.  This mask is deep cleansing and the reason it is so important is because it draws out all the impurities that your cleanser isn't able too.  It smells like ginger, which I love, and the reason it has been named a warming mineral mask is because the moment you put it on to your skin it activates and heats up very quickly.  I had never tried a warming mask before this one so I didn't know quite how I felt about it but I soon fell in love with it.  After washing it off I like to slap on some thick moisturiser because, having quite dry skin I really feel it needs it after this mask, and my skin feels so healthy it's incredible.

2.  Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Self-Foaming Mask

This mask is designed to be a five minute facial equivalent to a spa treatment.  After applying the gel-like product to your face it activates and turns into a foam with enzymatic exfoliators which cleanses the skin.  It really tingles your skin and for a couple seconds it might even feel uncomfortable but it's well worth it!  This mask is dynamite in a small package that's for sure.  After washing it off, I have the same redness I have when I exfoliate my face which just goes to show you how well it works.  The mask comes with a serum specifically suited to the mask to replenish and calm the skin and promote it's own natural ceramides.  This really does calm my skin and rejuvenates it overall.  My skin feels so healthy for days after using this.  It improves my skin's elasticity and gives quite a glow to it.

3.  Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque

I recently had a facial where the therapist recommended the Skin Hydrating Masque for my skin.  Having never used it before, I was all for it.  This mask is fantastic for putting moisture back into your skin.  The therapist noticed that I could do with rehydrating my skin and I couldn't have agreed more, especially now as the air becomes really dry leading into winter.  This mask isn't going to leave you oily at all so you don't need to be worried of being greasy after using it.  Instead it adds the perfect amount of moisture to your skin and I find that my skin laps up what it needs and nothing more.  After using this mask I feel as though I've had a glass of water and it's all gone to the skin on my face and it feels so revitalised and refreshed!

Have you used any of these masks?  Do you recommend any others?  I'd love to know your thoughts!

Forever New

Michael Kors Rose gold watch

Mr Price dress | Michael Kors watch | Accessorise earrings | Sass Diva bracelets | Forever New bag | Linx heels via Zando

Mother's Day is on Sunday for anyone that may need reminding.  I'm planning to take my grandmother out for high tea on the day which should be fun.  She's the most incredible woman in the world and most definitely deserves some spoiling.

I wore this dress to a bloggers lunch on Saturday and I thought it would be the perfect inspiration for a Mother's Day outfit.  Cream lace is always an elegant choice and perfect for a day celebrating all the precious mothers in the world.  Do you have any special plans / gifts in mind for Mother's Day?

Sunset Walk

Hi everyone!  Today's post is just a quick one because I've been super busy lately.  I'm now back from Cape Town and I had an incredible time.  I can't wait to share my pictures with you.  Here's what I've been wearing today.  Sorry the pictures are so dark, I only got around to taking these on a little sunset walk with my dad.  In the past week I've been to a wine festival in Stellenbosch, a comedy evening at Monte Casino, a Mexican Food festival and more wine drinking.  Now it's time to pull on pjs, make dinner and watch movies with le bf and I couldn't be more excited about that.  I'm such a home body!
