Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I spent it relaxing and watching DVDs.  Shore Shank Redemption is highly recommended if you haven't seen it already.  I hope this picture I found on Pinterest this morning lifts you out of any possible "blue Monday".

I have so much to be thankful for and I've been reflecting on this quite a bit this weekend.  I have such a wonderful family, fantastic friends, the gift of education, of the senses and of life.  The hard times definitely make the good times all that much sweeter.  If anyone of you is having a difficult time at the moment,  be brave, you will make it through.  There are plenty smiles waiting for you on the other end.  Have faith.

I've been looking forward to watching  this movie for such a long time and on Friday I was able to.  This is such a great movie.  The clothes are tailored and sophisticated and Marilyn's famous red lips are just perfect. Michelle Williams did such a remarkable job at playing this character that I was often convinced it was Marilyn that I was watching.  It was interesting to be introduced more closely to the complexity of her character and to her internal weaknesses.  Strange to think a woman of that stature could be so insecure.  I definitely recommend a night out at the movies to watch this movie, you won't be disappointed.
