The world truly is a beautiful place. There is so much to see and wonder and marvel at and my eyes love to feast on these things. Sometimes a rose garden between an old theatre and even older bridge looking towards a palace transport me into a different time and have my imagination running wild. I get so swept up in the romance of different times that I enjoy taking a moment to place it all. I half imagine myself descending from the palace in a horse-drawn gold-leaf carriage in an exquisite dress and hat with my Edward at my side for an evening at the opera in the 17th Century.
Back to 2012 and we still enjoy getting dressed up for a night at the opera, rather by foot than by carriage and descending from Lippert hotel (our palace). More of those delights tomorrow, but for now, the theatre, the roses and the bridge.
We did a walking tour to Prague castle with a (very pregnant) guide. She showed us such sweet places that we may never have found as they aren't where the tourist looks at all. One place we stumbled upon was this "Berlin wall" outside a monastary. We were so excited to find we had been preceded by South Africans.
Isn't this a beautiful view? Oh, Prague, I think we may have fallen in love.
