Doubled up

At the moment I'm not getting out much as I'm studying for exams but on Saturday night I went out with friends to watch The Lucky One.  I loved the book so I couldn't wait to watch the movie.  It was so sweet.

Lacy Lady

Hi everyone!!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I had the most amazing time spending time with my friends and with Grant.  We did so much and drove around so much.  I had dinner at Mythos and cake at Succulent cafe.  These pictures were taken near my house at a gate in remembrance of a a British soldier which was quite an interesting find.  I'd never noticed it before.

My sister had a little birthday party with her friends at Succulent Cafe.  I thought this girly lace dress would be perfect for the occasion.  What do you think?

Military Gold

Hi everyone!  It's Friday!!!  I hope you have the most amazing weekend!  It's the first weekend that I don't have to study in quite some time now so I'm kicking off the sweatpants and bringing out my gorgeous heels. As the sun sets

Thailand, you wonderful place.  Isn't this sunset spectacular?  I haven't experienced very moments more breathtaking than this one.  I sat in the water and watched the sun give a grand finale from this beach in Patong.  What a moment.

Stripes

Friday was such a good day.  My wonderful boyfriend surprised me with a full body massage at the Westcliff hotel.  What a pleasure!  I went for a bit of a hair crop after that (these photos taken before then).  We had dinner at Fishmonger with a friend.  Fishmonger, for local readers, has the very best baked fish dish.  It's out of this world.  It's so good we talk about it for days.  Following dinner, the three of us went to watch The Vow.  It didn't live up to my expectations but it was a great evening nonetheless.

Steal her Style

To me, Gossip Girl's stylist's best creation is Lily van der Woodsen's dress sense.  I could quite easily swap my entire wardrobe for hers.  Always in very tailored, very classic dresses, diamond earring studs, a great necklace, hair swept up and sporting a glass of champagne, this character is the very essence of class and sophistication.  I love the extreme polish and refinery to her look.

One step closer

Our visas have been granted and with less than two months to go and time flying by at a rapid pace, soon I'll be walking down this beautiful bridge, Charles' Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic.  I couldn't be more excited.

Sunshine and skirts

I thought I'd have fun with different shades of the same colour all in the same outfit.  I tried out a hair tutorial for a waterfall braid and you can see my result below.  It needs a bit of perfecting but it was fun to try.  What do you think?  x
