Petits Fours

I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening of Petits Fours, Kramerville by my friend, Morgan.  She sent me the invite and when I opened it, I saw the theme was Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  From that moment I knew that I would be clearing my schedule so that I could attend.  We had a gorgeous high tea with macarons, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate cake, quiches, eclairs and coffees.  What better way to start the day?  Definitely worth a visit for all those of you living near Sandton!

Let them eat cake

I love to go to looking sweet treats first thing on a Saturday morning.  While in Cape Town, it was pretty much essential that I visited the Old Biscuit Mill for this very reason.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on some macaroons.  They give me such delight.  I also bought a great pair of tailored pants for work which I will post next week.  My final purchase was a rose ring which will pop up soon enough too.
